Harriët Teeuw

Harriet has a working practice as a Focusing Oriented Art Therapist. She first learned about Focusing from Erna de Bruin and Christine Langeveld in 2000 and has worked as a Focusing trainer since 2005 specializing in teaching parents, teachers & therapists Children Focusing. She works with children & adults with autism and people dealing with bereavement and trauma to build resiliency, while giving workshops on a regular basis in a center for families confronting cancer. She is currently a Focusing coordinator in training, mentored by Marta Stapert. In 2006, together with René Veugelers & Jos van de Brand, she co-founded the KinderFocussen Foundation and was part of the organizing team for the Children Focusing Conference in Heemskerk (The Netherlands) in 2010.
