Post-training support – free, on-line and offered monthly
Melinda recalls how Gene Gendlin frequently wanted to make sure that participants in a training had some type of follow-up, on-going support to assure that the work and learning continues.
Research does show that people often leave a training eager to try out what they have learned. But if they return to their original workplace or home environment without some form of ongoing support, they gradually lose the freshness of what they’ve learned and revert to old patterns.
FII is offering free, on-line follow-up support groups for those who have participated in any of our trainings. An FII facilitator will enable sharing and promote an experiential approach to problem-solving around what you have previously learned. This has the potential to enrich your lives and your community wellness activities. This will also offer you the opportunity to connect with others interested in building community – a cross-fertilization of all our Focusing work in different settings.
The format will be:
- Attunement – A coming together
- Sharing – What you need right now
- Experiential problem-solving
- Thanking what came
