Janet Klein

Janet Klein held a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. It was during her internship at the Chicago Counseling and Psychotherapy Center in the early 1980’s that she was introduced to client-centered psychology, and Focusing–meeting Gene Gendlin. Shortly after this she met and was mentored by Mary McGuire and was able to deepen her practice. In her search for more she developed Interactive Focusing. This relational Model was a powerful way of helping couples, parents & children, and anyone in a relationship to resolve issues and to find new meaning in their manner of being together. The Focusing community lost her in 2010.
